FACT:

"Landlord Won't Allow"

is among the top reasons given by people for not having a pet. According to researchers, if all rental housing units permitted pets, approximately 6.5 million animals could be placed in homes. If you are not able to have a pet for any reason, sponsoring an animal is a great way to fill that void. "Research from the social and medical sciences confirms that pets can and do improve our health and happiness. Pets offer the universal joy of unconditional love." * For less than $1.00 a day you can make the difference in the life of a homeless animal.

Sponsorship

We need your help, for $25 a month--less than a dollar a day--you can sponsor a dog or cat, at the BARC Shelter. This money helps to defray the costs of food and medical expenses.

 

What You Get

You will be able to come and visit, and play with your companion animal while he or she is living at the shelter during the your time of sponsorship. An invitation from your sponsored pet to show you off at the annual BARC parade, plus invites to other special BARC events that take place during the year, and a copy of our seasonal newsletters. And of course, the satisfaction that you are helping a homeless animal in their time of need.
